Biography

Catherine Cocke was born about 1704 in Henrico, Virginia to parents William Cocke and Sarah Perrin.

Her father William Cocke died in 1717 and left a will that lists Catherine as a daughter.[1]

She married John Burton Sr of Longfield as his first wife about 1724 in Henrico, Virginia.[2]

Children:

  1. Abner 1723
  2. John Stewart Burton Jr. born 7 Sep 1725.[3]

She died on 10 Sep 1725 three days after her son John was born in Henrico, Virginia.[4]

After her death her husband John married secondly Elizabeth Ware.
