Hi Richard

My grandmother was an Elliott and our history is based in Northumberland and the family have always told stories of being boarder raiders.

You might like to look at the Elliott one name study pages

in the United Kingdom project there are sub pages for England and then more for each county. Enjoy exploring these and others

Hey Richard, I'll assume youve joined the Elliott project & reivers project on FTDNA. I haplogroup isnt related to the main lines of The border Elliots but that doesnt mean you dont go back to the borders. Another group FT that is good is Enland GB EIJ project. Their admin. Is pretty good at deciphering were you guy came from.
