Biography

Anne was born in Rowley Essex Mass about 1717 and her estimated death in 1778 took place in Metheun Essex Mass. She gave birth to 12 children. Ann, daughter of John Eveins & Mary, was born in 1717 in Salisbury, Essex, Massachusetts, United States.[1]

Anne Evans and Samuel Palmer were married in Rowley, Massachusetts on Aug. 21, 1738. [2]

The couple had the following children: Jane (1740-), Anne (1740-), Samuel Jr (1742-1763), Betsey (1745-), John (1746-1835), James (1749-1786), Phebe (1751-1754), Mary (1753-), Phebe (1756-1845), Asa (1760-1815), Joshua (1761-1850), Samuel (1764-1847).

She died in 1790 in Methuen, MA.

Evans-7986 and Evans-7985 appear to represent the same person because: They appear to be duplicates. No idea where the married name DOWNER comes from as there is no, and has never been, any source for it. Perhaps a mis-reading of Palmer.
