Biography

Estimated Date|Birth and Death Mildred "Millie" was born about 1756. She was perhaps the daughter of Daniel Everett and Frances Everett. The information originally posted here was entered, unverified, from a gedcom upload of Fran Mason, which was basically unsourced and questionable. This is the source of the uncited death date and place.

She married Joseph Slayden, but no traceable marriage or place is yet found, please do not add dates from marriage collections that are not sourced. Their marriage is implied by such records as the Court records cited below.

She passed away after 1830, where her household code in census is 000001-000000001. [1]

She was almost certainly not buried in Slayden Cemetery in Tennessee, as posted on a FindaGrave memorial.

Research Notes

Evidence supports the claim that she was born into the Everett family. Note that descendants of her daughter Rachel show Everett in many of their claimed or proven given names.

There is some confusion regarding daughter Agnes, who is Agnes Weir in her father Joseph Slayden's will, but Agnes Furgeron (Ferguson?) in the above document. presumably she married more than once.
