Biography

He marries Rose Délima Rochette, daughter of Léon Rochette and Pétronille Demers, on 12 July 1853 in St-Raymond. 5 known children, 3 known to die young, 1 known to marry. Délima dies 31 Aug 1861 in St-Raymond, aged 23 per funeral record. Jean remarries with Sophie Gravel, daughter of Étienne Gravel and Sophie Auger, on 3 Mar 1862 in Neuville. There is notice of consanguinity between them. They have one known child who marries in 1884. Sophie remarries 30 October 1872 in St-Raymond with Ferdinand Plamondon[1]

Jean Chrysostome Châteauvert died on 4 August 1871 and was buried on the 6th in St-Raymond, the record giving him 39 years of age, husband of Sophie Gravel.[2]
