autosomal DNA
test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Johann Nikolaus:
Fuesser-4 and Fusser-1 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicates. Minor DOB differences on profile, but bio uses both DOB's. (Probably a previous merge. Looks like parents as well as spouse needs merging.
Fuesser-6 and Fusser-1 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicates. Correct LNAB is probably Füsser, so a determination needs to be made as to correct spelling of LNAB. Spouses will be set to merge.
Whether or not the LNAB should be Fuesser, Füsser, or Füßer is hard to say. It depends on what the documentation says on the christening record. The special characters can get dropped. I know someone who lost their umlaut and ß (ess-tzet) recently, and this was even here in Switzerland. OTOH, I know someone else who reclaimed the umlaut on their UK passport.
The marriage record using Füßer, is probably good enough support to use Füßer. I would think it would be unlikely to add the umlaut and ess-tset if he hadn't been baptised with it.
Fiesser-6 and Fusser-1 appear to represent the same person because: Same person (wife, dates, places); Fusser is the original German form of Fiesser but I neglected to alter that when I entered the father of Susanna.
