Robert Gray was born on Mar 22, 1750 in Inchture, Perthshire, Scotland. He died in 1799 in Iredell County, North Carolina. His burial location is not known.[1]
According to family sources and the Genealogical Society of Iredell County, he served in the Revolutionary War. There was a Robert Gray in the Hyde County Regiment, North Carolina Militia, during the American Revolution.[2]
