Biography

Logan was born in 1861. He was the son of George Holt and Elizabeth Rogers.

The 1870 Census[1] shows him at age 9 in the home of his father and step mother in Third Creek Township, Gasconade County, Missouri.

The 1880 Census[2] shows him at age 18 in the home of his father and step mother in Third Creek Township, Gasconade County, Missouri.

He married Mary Plummer on 21 Oct 1886 in New Haven, Gasconade County, Missouri.[3] Their children:

  1. Emma Nora Holt, (1887–1924)
  2. Flora Anna Holt, (1889–1971)
  3. Laura Meta Holt, (1890–1957)
  4. Benjamin Emmett Holt, (1893–1978)
  5. Bessie Irene (Holt) Nicks (1899-1980)

The 1930 Census[4] shows him at age 68 in the home of his son, Ben E. Holt, in Owensville, Gasconade County, Missouri.

He passed away in 1949, but the location is not known. He is buried at the Owensville City Cemetery in Owensville, Gasconade County, Missouri.[5]

Unable to find a Missouri Death Certificate. He may have died outside of the State of Missouri.
