Hello Merrilyn,

Many thanks for the information on Gibson Robson Carson, found on Ancestry. I think that most of the information on the site and the photographs are the ones that I have previously provided, but thank you for the heads up on what you discovered.

I am still working through a number of records which will be added to my Wikitree page, once I have placed them in order.

My aunt (Gibson's) wife celebrated her 90th birthday earlier this year, although sadly she is suffering from dementia.

Take care and thanks again, Ron.

Thanks Sue, that is what I did and still could not get in, so I went down the road to the it tech and he fixed it for me.

Not good idea to use computer when it is 40 degrees then you can get in but could not shut computer down. So I had to pull everything out and leave it for about 5 hours when it was cooler the plug it back it . I then shut it off, and the next day when it was cooler it worked fine so I don't use it when it is around 40 degrees Merrilyn

Cant get in to family news , or suggestions to fix my mistakes it comes up this page is unavailable

I do not think the Bordertown burial is her's, but will have to check further. The age is not right. Perhaps the Bordertown Langley is not right? I( will have to spend more time Merrilyn and have none until early next week. Will be back to you though, as I have a suspicion that the Robert Langley in Bordertown is not correct. Best, Trish

OK last one until this pm as I have to go out this am and running late. Our Eliza and Robert both died in Victoria, in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The Probate Records confirm this, and their ages fit. The ones in Bordertown must be from a completely different family. The children for ours all line up. Will ring you later today Merrilyn. Trish.

Eliza was married on 25 May 1898 at Guayaquil, Victoria, Australia & you have the right reference.

I would think the Bordertown burial is likely right, but, as you can see from the photograph of Eliza she looks quite elderly - in fact 83 when she died. She outlived Robert Langley by 5 years. She was born in Brusnwick Victoria in 1872 - Australia Birth Index, 1788-1922. Registration No. 1096. Victoria, Australia, Birth Index, 1837-1917 - same registration number. Her parents Annie King and George Howard are recorded on both Birth Certificates. Her Probate was granted Victoria, Australia, Wills and Probate Records, 1841-2009 and the probate record states that she died at Box Hill and she was a widow. I shall check the death notices and info I have from Robert Langley & post again later.

Thanks for your note, Merrilyn,

Since you became aware of the pre-1700 certification while you were working on your Carson/Wells family, the Australia Project is probably appropriate. If you add the Australia tag to your profile, you will see all of their discussions in your G2G Feed and any changes to related pages.
