The photo of Frank and Reuben was taken at the funeral of Anna Lawrence.

This was a tragic family event. Anna (aka Annie) fell asleep in front of the fireplace while reading and snuggled up with her new baby. She caught on fire and both died. All the younger children in the family were traumatized. Annie was named after Anna Ralston, a lady that everyone in the family loved.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Frank by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Frank:

WikiTree has very specific guidelines about the use of DNA and the DNA statement above does not meet that criteria. You can start reviewing the DNA requirements here https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:DNA.

Westward Ho is the project management for James-759 profile of which this duplicate was made. A merge has been proposed but the project will need the undocumented daughter detached (or primary source documentation brought forward) to merge.

Alexander Franklin James, the son of Robert Sallee James, never lived in Tennessee until her was an old man. His was born and raised in Clay Co Missouri, and the son of a widow, and he was schooled at the local school house and never attended any boarding school anywhere. His childhood was strictly with his mother and siblings in Missouri.

He did not father a girl in Tennessee while he was a teenager. The autosomal dna test that Karen Daye took shows only that she shares some ancestor with Alexander Franklin James. The dna test does not show her ancestor is his daughter. Thomas Green James, the neighbor of Malvina Miles-5617, the mother of Elvira James-12814, shares the same ancestry with Alexander Franklin James. They are very distantly related and share Thomas B. James-536 as a shared ancestor. There is no evidence that Alexander Franklin James, a teenager at home in Missour, could ever have father Elvira in Tennessee. Alexander Franklin James did not have a relative living next door to Malvina. Lilly Martin
