Peter Jenison was born 6 January 1750 in Sutton, Worcester, Massachusetts, the son of Joseph Jenison and Martha Twiss.
Peter married Mehitable first or thirty-first of March 1769 in Sutton, Massachusetts.
Revolutionary War Veteran: Revolutionary War records of Massachusetts show that Peter Jennison was a private on the Lexington alarm in Captain John Growl's company, Colonel Larned's regiment, April 19, 1775. The company was reported as belonging to the new parish taken off from Leicester, Worcester, Sutton, and Oxford, Massachusetts."
He died 9 December 1816 in New Berlin, Ontario (now Chenango), New York. He is buried in Norwich, Chenango County, New York in the Jenison Family Plot.
