Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a Pre-1700 Project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants.
I suggest Sweden led by Lena Svensson and Eva Ekeblad.
After joining the project, Please add a project tag<SWEDEN> to your page to receive project activity updates.
Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)
Björn, do you speak Swedish or other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add
{{ Languages | sv | en-3 }}
to the top of your biography if you speak Swedish natively and advanced English, or you could use de-4 to specify near-native German or ru-1 for basic Russian, etc. It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree!
Welcome to WikiTree! The email we just sent has helpful links to get you started.
WikiTree is different than other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we share ancestors and work together as a BIG collaborative team!
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree?
When you confirm your email address, youll be given an opportunity to volunteer to help document our collective family history. Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests.
When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add your family to the tree!
