Michael Kermann, 1708 - 1788, he emigrated to the 13 colonies in 1750, with his wife, his son Michael Jr., and daughter Mary. By 1758 they were settled in the Mohawk Valley, near Johnstown as a tenant of Sir William Johnson's[1]
Left NY 1784 to Matilda as UEL. Carman grand was lot 21, east half held by Mrs. Martin Walter, west by Michael. The Carman Road which ran from the tip of Point Iroq. to the 2nd Conc. formed the boundary between the two halves. This road, still called by that name, has always marked the west boundary of Iroquois." Both Michael and Margardt are buried east of Iroquois in Anglican Cemetery.
