Jenneke or Jannieken is generally accepted to have been a daughter of Frederick Knoet [Cloet, Clute] and Francina Du Mont [Du Mont], but there is no known record of her baptism. An unsourced online genealogy says she was born in 1702 at Schenectady, New York, and died June 1778 at Kingston, Ulster, New York. Another says that Jenneke du Mont Cloet was born circa 1703 in Albany, Albany, New York. [1] Others place the birth in 1708. The Dummond Family Genealogy places her as the first of the children of Frederick and Francina, and says she was born in Kingston, Ulster, New York and died there in June 1778.[2] Others say she died at Fishkill, Dutchess county.
Jenneke du Mont Cloet married Arie Van Vliet circa 1723. [3]
