Biography
Marguerite Landry was born about 1714 in Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia, daughter of Germain Landry and Marie Melanson.
Marguerite (23) married Germain Babin (26) (born in Village-des-Breau, Pigiguit, Acadie, Nouvelle-France) in 1738 in Acadie.
Their known children were:
- Anna Marguerite Babin (1740 – Oct 17 1809)
- Amand Babin (about 1743 – before Apr 11 1808)
- Madeleine Elisabeth Babin (about 1745 – Jan 4 1812)
- Marie Babin (about 1754 – Nov 1807)
Marguerite died before Jul 7, 1763, aged about 48.
