Biography

Joseph was born on 17 November 1731 and baptized the next day in Annapolis Royal.[1] He was the son of Charles Lanoue and Marie Josèphe Landry. His godparents were René La Noue and Anne Landry.

He married Marie Savoie, daughter of Germain Savoie and Geneviève Babineau, around 1760.[2]

He passed away before 1763 as Marie was listed that year as a widow on a census in South Carolina.[2]
