It is with regret that we announce the death of Mrs. Tessie LeBlanc. Mrs. LeBlanc was 65 years old and was sick for close to a year. She was postmistress for 25 years.
She leaves to mourn: a son Bernard of Sydney, N.S.; two brothers, Eddie of Melrose, Mass and Ulysse of Sydney; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Murphy, Mrs. Mathurin Pothier, Flossie, and Mrs. Eloi LeBlanc, Lorraine, all of Wedgeport. Her husband, Nathan, died three years ago.
Interment took place Monday morning. Requiem mass was celebrated by Father Gerald LeBlanc, vicar of Meteghan, and nephew of the deceased. Father Adolphe LeBlanc acted as deacon and Father Franklyn Pothier as subdeacon. The porters were Patrick and Michael Murphy, Joseph, Chester, Louis and Cecil LeBlanc, all nephews of the deceased."
