When Phebe Likins was born in 1760 in Hopewell, Virginia, her father, Jonas Likins Sr., was 27, and her mother, Rebecca (Collsen) Likins, was 25.

Phebe died in 1855 in Greensboro, Henry, Indiana at the impressive age of 95.[4]

Phebe joined the Quakers on July 1, 1782 at Hopewell Monthly Meeting. ON Feb. 3, 1783, Phebe and Samuel transfered to Crooked Run MM, also in Frederick Co.,VA. They transfered to Concord MM in Belmont Co.,OH, ( NOrth-west Territory) on Oct 2, 1802. On Sept. 26, 1823, Phebe transfered from Flushing MM in Belmont Co.,OH , to Whitewater MM Wayne Co.,IN. Her sons Jonas and Samuel and their families also transferred to Whitewater at about that same time.
