Yves Maucaer was born about 1677. He was the son of Olivier Maucaer of Brest and Isabelle Beauregard. [1]
He used the last name Gure on Jun 24, 1703, when he was the godfather of Charles Savoie. Then in 1708 he signed Yves Maucaire as a witness at the marriage of René Blanchard to Marie Savoie on Jan 18, 1708.[2]
He married Isabelle Levron, widow of Etienne Picot and daughter of Francois Levron and Caterine Savoye 9 February 1712 at Port Royal. His name was spelled Ives Maucaer, but he did not sign.[3]
