In the 1950 census Joan (age 1) was the daughter of John McInerney in New York, Queens, New York, United States.[1]
My earliest memories are of living in Ravenswood in Long Island City. I spent hours playing in the little playground behind the apartment house. I also spent hours in the public library across the street. We moved to Farmingdale while I was still in elementary school. Eventually I went to the College of Saint Rose in Albany, met my future husband, moved to Owego to teach and have been here ever since. I like living in a small town although I like to travel also.

You are doing great! I love your Mom's smile in her picture and Annie's hat is wonderful. And, best of all you are doing a good job with your sources. The most important thing about a source is that you give enough information that someone can quickly find it which you are doing.
This is an fyi, not something you have to change. You will see many people using sources from FamilySearch.org. There are two reasons for this, while you have to register, there is no paywall and they do a better job of formating the source for you:
FamilySearch:
"New York State Census, 1925," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KSWF-RX2 : 8 November 2014), Stanley Rajewski, Buffalo Ward 10, A.D. 05, E.D. 02, Erie, New York, United States; records extracted by Ancestry and images digitized by FamilySearch; citing p. 44, line 16, New York State Archives, Albany.
Ancestry: Detail New York State Archives; Albany, New York; State Population Census Schedules, 1925; Election District: 02; Assembly District: 05; City: Buffalo Ward 10; County: Erie; Page: 44 Edit source Source information Title New York, State Census, 1925 Author Ancestry.com
That being said, FamilySearch does not have all the records that Ancestry does and there are things that Ancestry does do better.
