As you have been a member of WikiTree for a few weeks now, I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.
Has the New Member How-To been helpful, or left you with any questions?

Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.
I am so delighted to welcome you as a member of the WikiTree family!

I hope you love WikiTree as much as I do. You never know when you will find a lost ancestor or family member. Maybe you will find a family secret about an ancestor like I did.

I’m a very green to family tree searching and I’m sure I will have many questions.
No 1/. I cam across this site accidentally by typing in a GGG grandmothers name and town she lived in. It threw up a correct contact and two photos. How do I contact the person who put the photos on the site...... there is an attached name/member.? Cheers Julie
Because of the way the messaging service works at WikiTree, Gilly didn't get notified about you question. She's off duty right now so I'm going to answer.
Probably the best way would be to leave a comment on the profile of your 3xgreat-grandmother. The profile manager will receive a message about it. You could also use the "send private message" link but that will send your private email address to the other person. You may not want to do that for privacy reasons.
If you have any questions about how WikiTree works, let us know by using the "reply" link under our comments or by clicking our names to visit our profiles. From there you can leave a comment or send a private message.
This is just a note to say Hello and to let you know that I'm available to answer questions about joining WikiTree.
