Priscilla Mooar was born at Andover, Massachusetts on June 12, 1724, daughter of Timothy Sr. and Ann (Blanchard) Mooar. [1][2]
Her mother Ann died on December 15, 1729 at Andover. [1][2] On November 6, 1732, Timothy More was named guardian of Timothy, Benjamin, Mary, Anne and Priscilla More, his children by his wife Anne Blanchard, deceased. [3]
In her grandfather Jonathan Blanchard's will, written on August 30, 1742, he left L5 each to:
my grandchildren, children of my daughter Anne More deceased: Timothy, Benjamin, Mary, Anne and Priscilla [4]
Priscilla married Nicholas French on June 5, 1744. [1][2] Nicholas, youngest child and sixth son, of Deacon William and Sarah (Danforth) French was born in Billerica, Massachusetts September 5, 1711. [5][6]
Her father Timothy More Sr. wrote his will on March 8, 1759, and it was recorded on April 5, 1762 in it he names, among others, his daughter Priscilla French. [7]
