• NOTE - she had a younger sister Anna Johanna (Oosthuijzen) Oosthuizen (1802-) with the same name, baptised in 1802, so presumably the older one died at a young age.^[1]

Their respective SAG Register entries are listed below, but it is very clear from the Probate record on the profile of Anna Johanna (Oosthuijzen) Janse van Rensburg (bef.1799-1864), that she was the one who married Marthinus Philippus Janse van Rensburg (abt.1791-1884). • According to Heese & Lombard, the two Anna Johanna Oosthuizens were as below, but on wikitree the spouses are interchanged. The version on wikitree seems to be correct, since the Anna who married Janse van Rensburg had a child named Albertha. More evidence would be the DNs of the Annas, but I have been unable to find either.
