Tryntje Helmerse Otten was the only child of Helmar Otten and Ariantje Bradt, and the step daughter of Reyer Jacobse Schermerhorn (1652-1719). She at Albany, New York, likely in about 1671. There are no Albany church records from before 1683, so there is no record of her baptism.
She married Gerrit Symonse Veeder. They were married in the Albany Reformed Church on 3 August 1690, recorded as Gerrit Symonsz and Catryn Helmertsz. Both were living at "N.A." (referring to "New Albany," later known as Albany).[1]

Otten-260 and Otten-237 appear to represent the same person because: Clearly intended to be the same person.
Neither profile cites a baptism record nor indicates that she was baptized with a patronymic name, and I have not found any WikiTree profiles with a patronymic form of her name, so Otten seems like the best choice for her LNAB. Both profiles use that name, and the parent conflicts that formerly existed have been resolved, so a merge can proceed.
