Donald Lines Jacobus, writing in The American Genealogist, Vol 9, page 87, states that Martha Peck who married Samuel Hubbard "of Middletown (Berlin)", was the daughter of Paul Peck and Elizabeth Baysey of Hartford, Connecticut.[1] The same information is in the Families of Early Hartford, Connecticut by Barbour, no sources listed.[2]
Biography
"Martha Peck, daughter of Paul and Elizabeth (Baysey) Peck, was born about 1681 in Hartford, Connecticut."[1] She married in Hartford, 1 Nov 170[1?], Samuel Hubbard, of Middletown, (Berlin).[1]
Note: On her memorial stone, Here lies the Body of Mrs Martha Hubbard Widow of Mr Samuel Hubbard who died October the 19th 1752 In the 75th year of her Age. This would have made her year of birth as 1677.[3]
Burial
Buried in the Maple Cemetery, Berlin, Hartford, Connecticut.[4]
