Biography

Henry Pendleton was born on 15 May 1683 in Colony of Virginia, son of Philip Pendleton (>1654–1721) and Isabella Elizabeth Hurt (1654–1724).

Henry (18) married Mary Bishop Taylor (13) (born on 29 Jun 1688 in New Kent County, Virginia Colony; daughter of James Taylor I and Mary Bishop (Gregory) Thomas) on 6 Aug 1701 in King and Queen, Virginia.[1]

Their children were:

  1. James Pendleton (~1702–~1761)
  2. Philip Pendleton (1704–1778)
  3. Mary Pendleton (1710–1803)
  4. Isabella Pendleton (~1712–1790)
  5. Nathaniel Pendleton (1715–1793)
  6. John Clayton Pendleton (~1719–~1799)
  7. Edmund Pendleton (1721–1803)

Henry died on 4 Mar 1721 in Colony of Virginia, aged 37. He was buried in Hare Forest Cemetery, Caroline County, Virginia.[2]
