Biography

Velma was born around 1907.

Velma married Elbert Oliver on November 26, 1922.[1]

In 1930, the family was living in Jefferson County, Alabama. Velma and Elbert had two children, "E. Inez" (4 years old) and "H. Lawrence" (2 y.o.).[2]

In 1940, Velma was living with husband Elbert in Straight Mountain, Alabama. They had three children in the household, Inez (14 years old), H.L. (a son, 12) and Donald (7).[3]

She passed away after 1950, though the original profile manager says it was 1992, though provided no sources.

Birth date updated based on two census reports. Unable to find a source for the death date or any sources other than the marriage and two census reports. Needs further research. Huggins-2519 17:57, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
