Elizabeth Poage, daughter of Robert Poage and Jean (Wallace) Poage, was born about 1760 in Botetourt, Virginia. [1] Per her brother William's Revolutionary War pension review session in 1832, the 73 year old William lived in Botetourt for 66 years but prior to that he lived in Albemarle County, Virginia implying that several of his siblings were born in Albemarle as well. Their parents were married in Allbemarie.
She married Thomas Goodson Jr on 11 July 1782 in Botetourt County. [2] They had ten children.
She died 5 February 1837 in Floyd County, Virginia. [1]
