Richard Puleston was born about 1480. He was the son of Sir Roger Puleston of Emral and Jane Hanmer. ^[1]

Sir Richard Puleston was the son of Sir Roger Puleston, Kt of Emral and Jane, daughter and heir of William Hamner Esq. ^[2]

He married Ermin, daughter of Richard Hamner Esq. of Hamner. ^[2]

Sir Richard and Ermin had at least one son, Roger Puleston Esq who married Anne, daughter of Richard Grosvenor Esq. of Eaton.^[2]:
