Research Notes

  • This profile was originally created for the son who was baptised on 1 Nov 1767 in Drakenstein and who died young. In 2019 his date of birth was changed to 1772, which was when his younger brother with the same name was born. In 2023 the profile Redelinghuys-10 (which was created for the younger brother) was merged into this one. I will re-create the profile of the younger brother (see Redelinghuyse-1) & transfer the necessary detail to that profile, so we end up with 2 profiles again. Also disconnecting him from Susanna Margaretha (Wessels) Redelinghuys (1775-abt.1862) as spouse plus removing him as father of all her children. Laubscher-282 13 September 2023
