Research Notes

Who were Bethiah's parents? Two possible families are:

Samuel Rickard and Rebecca Snow. Bethzah Rickard was born to them on October 15, 1698 in Plymouth, Massachusetts. [3] Samuel and Rebecca Removed to, and died in, Plympton, Massachusetts, according to their Wikitree profiles. This is a strong case for this Bethiah being the subject of this profile, being as she was married in Plympton.
Henry Rickard and Mercy Morton. Henry and Mercy were married in 1708. [4] From the inline source listed, it would have been this family that this Bethiah originated from. Bethiah's father of this family was born, raised and died in Plymouth, according to his Wikitree profile. The same is true of her mother. Both profiles are not well sourced, so this would warrant further research

Henry's child was born in 1704 from his 1st marriage.

Both families had a daughter named Bethiah. Samuel and Henry Rickard were brothers.
