Biography

Juliet or Juliette Russell was born in 1864 in Elbow Cay, Abaco, Bahamas to Joseph Russell and Ruth Pinder. In 1880, she was living with her parents and siblings in Key West, Monroe County, Florida.^[1]

Juliette married twice: first, in 1880, in Key West, Florida, to Thomas Pembroke Albury, son of William Albury and Catherine Albury (formerly Albury); and second, in the summer of 1889 in Key West, to George Washington Knowles, son of Justin Everett Prance Knowles and Jane Ann Hopkins Knowles.

Juliette had two sons with Thomas P Albury: Thomas Albury Jr. and George Franklin Albury. She and GW Knowles had children - including Myrtle Louise, Lillian Louise, Walter, Hilary Charles, Juliette, Alfred Richard, and Miriam Antoinette Knowles.

She passed away in 1943. Burial was in the Key West Cemetery in Key West, Monroe, Florida.^[2]
