Van Schoenderwoet-2 and Rutgers-3 appear to represent the same person because: Actually I can see now after merge of the husband Melchior that we are in better shape with this than my earlier comments. The only thing that is wrong here is the name Tryntje. This woman is really Engeltje. But the van Schoendwoert name is also okay as an aka for this wife, and than name is already set as an aka on the NNS PPP Rutgers. The bio of the husband identifies her as Engeltje, daughter of Ruttger van Schoendwoert, as set in the NNS PPP already. So all that we need to do here is to merge this match into the patronymic NNS PPP profile Rutgers-3, and keep the name Engeltje, and discard the name Tryntje, since that Tryntje name is still wrong, per my earlier comments. The currently attached children are probably all perfectly fine. The correct marriage is the 1671 marriage already attached to Rutgers. Thanks!
So we need to detach her as mother from the children of Melchior, and detach her from wife of Melchior, and then merge her away into the correct mother of Melchior from the match.
Van Schoonderwoert-4 and Rutgers-3 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest maternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge. No tree conflicts. These matches have been reviewed by the New Netherland Settlers Merge Approval System, and the "Green" destination NNS profile is protected as PPP, and the "Merge Pending" profile is now ready and able to be merged into it. I saved the data to the bios. Thanks!
She is neither the wife nor mother of the children.
She is the grandmother of the children, and mother of Melchior. She is also the daughter of a Melchior, hence the patronym Melchiors.
The van Shoendwoert name is wrong, and possibly confused with the family of Jacobus Van_Schoenderwoert-1.
So we need to detach her as mother from the children of Melchior, and detach her from wife of Melchior, and then merge her away into the correct mother of Melchior from the match.
