Sarah Sabey (married name Haines) was born on 21 August 1856 in Adelaide, South Australia, the daughter of Elizabeth Jessie (Warwick) Sabey and John Sabey.^{[citation needed]}

She married Cephas Stephen Haines on 13 March 1874 in Wellington, South Australia.^[1][2] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}
