Biography

Joseph Sabey was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)

Joe Sabey worked with the railways, and later as a tally clerk on the wharves at Port Adelaide, Port Lincoln, Tumby Bay and Cummins. He also spent time at Kingston SE, Meningie, Pinnaroo and Wolseley.

They brought up his little nephew, Harold William John McGrice after the death of his mother (Margaret McGrice nee Sabey).
