In Nov 2017 a merge was made between Phillip's wife, Elizabeth UNKNOWN and an Elizabeth Hubbard. It appears to me this was done incorrectly, if one examines her other husband and her children. Elizabeth Hubbard married a William Henry Saunders, who is not to be confused with Phillip's father who had the same name. (As an aside, I can find no justification for the middle name of Henry for either man) That William died about 1779, as evidenced by his will written June 26, 1779. This is well past the birthdate of Phillip's sons who were also the purported children of Elizabeth Hubbard.
Unless someone sees a flaw in my logic, I'd like to detach Elizabeth Hubbard from Phillip and create an Elizabeth UNKNOWN as his wife. Additionally, I'd correct his children, attaching them to the correct parents,
I think this profile and Sanders-3253 are probably duplicates. The discrepancies are the year of birth and death. But the places are the same and the will referenced as dated Oct. 10, 1767 is the same. One child's name, Benjamin, is the same, though there are also two profiles for him in which the birth dates are quite different.
I think I'm your Icelandic cousin!
I'm trying to figure all this out.
My 6th great grandmother was called Ursula the English and somewhere else she is registered wrongly as Úrsúla Sveinsdóttir. I suspect she was Sanders/Saunders and was either the sister, daughter or 1C of this Philip.
She was obviously also the granddaughter of William Bass Sr. the son of Elizabeth Nansemond Tucker and her unknown Senegambian partner.
