My name is Bertus Schreuders, born in The Hague, The Netherlands, on 10th of April 1947. I attended High School and Erasmus university Rotterdam. Nowadays I should be retired, but I still have an ambition to exchange knowledge with young people in Suriname, South America. I removed to this country in 2012 after I met my wife, who is a citizen of Suriname.
I started to research on my famiy in the early 90's. I alwaays was interested in the history of my family and my first results I published on my first website "vliegend hert ( flying deer)". It still is available on the internet. But since 2016 I exported all of these data to the website of MyHeritage from which I use the online version and the stand alone version as well.
My main goal is to discover my biological freat-grandfather, for until now we don't know who this man is. That's why I participated in a project ( Zonen van Adam =Sons of Adam) of the Leiden University done by professor Peter de Knijff in mapping the Y DNA structure in The Netherlands
