Mary Sears was born on August 18, 1718 in Harwich[1], now Brewster, Barnstable County, English province of Massachusetts Bay, New England. She was the daughter of Samuel Sears and his wife, Ruth (Merrick) Sears.
On November 30, 1738[2][3], Mary Sears married Joseph Snow, b: 14 September 1718 in Harwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay province, New England. They were married by the Rev. Nathaniel Stone. The couple lived in Harwich, Barnstable, Mass. Bay, and had the following 9 children:[4][5]
Martha Snow b: 27 MAR 1739 in Harwich, Barnstable, Mass.
Joseph Snow b: 27 SEP 1740 in Harwich, Barnstable, Mass. Bay
Isaac Snow b: 31 DEC 1741 in Harwich, Barnstable, Mass. Bay
Nathan Snow b: 11 NOV 1743 in Harwich, Barnstable, Mass.

Mercy Snow b: 26 AUG 1752 in Harwich, Barnstable, Mass. Bay
Two additional children are mentioned in at least one other family genealogy but with no birth/christening dates:[6]
Ruth Snow (not in Joseph's will so probably died as a child)
Silvanus Snow (who is mentioned in Joseph's 1761 will as a "minor," so he was born after 1752).
Mary (Sears) Snow died between 1753 and October 1759 (exact date not found). Her husband, Joseph Snow, survived her passing. He passed away in Harwich (Brewster), Barnstable Co., Massachusetts Bay province, New England, on April 30, 1761 after having remarried in 1759. [7]
