Violet Sheaffer was born on the 2nd of Sep 1862 in Abingdon, Knox Illinois to Levi Sheaffer^[1] and Mary Best. It is believed the siblings are:

Through the years

In 1870^[2]

In 1900^[5] they lived in a home they were renting on 1010 North 3rd Street in St Joseph Ward, Buchanan Missouri. She confirmed she had 5 children, all of whom were living, with Cyrus working as a Blacksmith.

In 1910^[8] she was working as a seamstress in a factory, while Cyrus was still working as a shoe maker. She again confirmed she had only 5 children. Ralph was working as a salesman and Marcy as an ordering clerk.

In 1920^[7] she was living in a home she owned that was mortgage free at 1206 Main Street in St Joseph, Missouri. Cyrus had passed away and she continued to work now as an Operator. they had a lodger living with them by the name of Jake Boardman

Death

She died at home of an Intestinal obstruction and cancer of the colon on the 3rd of September 1955 in St. Joseph, Buchanan^[1] and would be buried in the Ashland Cemetery in Saint Joseph, Missouri^[4].
