Biography

Gerald Geoffrey "Geoff" Sounness was born in 1909 in Plantagenet, Western Australia,[1][2] the son of Norah Sounness and Thomas Glen Sounness.[2]

His engagement to Betty Jenkin was announced in February 1934.[3] The couple never married.

Geoffrey's engagement to Pearl Kathleen Mitchell was announced in September 1935.[4] The couple married on 29 January 1936 at All Saints Church, Donnybrook, Western Australia.[5] Their children were:

Gerald died on 2 June 1984 at Rocky Gully, Western Australia.[2]
