The 1900 Summer Olympics, or the Games of the II Olympiad, were held in Paris, France from May 14-October 28, 1900. There were no opening or closing ceremonies, and it was part of the 1900 World's Fair. Women were allowed to compete for the first time in these games.[1] Great Britain sent 95 men and 1 woman. [2]

Only 2 teams participated in the competition, in a single match (the other team while nominally representing France was mainly made of British expatriates).
