Biography
Absalom was born about 1814, the son of Coleman Stubblefield and Martha Looney. He passed away about 1855.
2 May 1844: Absalom Wm Stubblefield and Sarah Canard are married in Randolph County, Arkansas[1][2]
1850 Census: Absolem and Sarah (29) Stubblefield are living in Randolph County, Arkansas. The record shows Absolem to be 26 years of age and that he was born in Missouri. The couple have 3 children in their home: Alanson M. (5), Mary J. (3), and one month old Robert M. Stubblefield.[3]
