p.333 Garrardus Drake left Long Island, as refugees, during the revolution. His second daughter Martha married William Thompson. They also went to Hadlyme, Connecticut from Long Island and back in 1782

p. 596 Repeats above information. William may have come from Sag Harbor.

He died after 1782 probably on Long Island, New York.

  • No Find a grave memorial William Thompson d. 1782 or Martha Thompson d. 1816
  • Google searches turn up only other trees
  • Search Gengophers.com turns up nothing
  • Searches at Ancestry turn up nothing but unsourced trees. Martha's name seems to be Mary/Martha Forbes Drake. So searched on Drake also.
