Ahasuerus Turk, bp. Kingston, Nov. 14, 1697. Died in New York, Ju1y 23, 1770. Married Hillegout Kuyper, who ws buried New York, Nov. 19, 1774. Ahasuerus's will dated Nov. 8, 1769, probated Nov. 26, 1784, mentioned his wife and seven children. Children born in New York.

His son Asahuerus recorded the death in the family Bible thusly: 1770 Den 23 Julij is ontslapen In den Heer mijn vaader Ahasuerus Turk Des avondts tusschen seven en acht uren oudt zijnde 3 en seventig Jaar.[2] (In English: On the 23rd of July 1770 between 7 and 8 o'clock in the evening, my father Ahasuerus Turk went to sleep with the Lord, age 73 years.)
