Biography

Juozapas Tiškevičius was a Lithuanian nobleman. He came from the Kretinga branch of the second Biržai branch of the Lithuanian noble family Tiškevičiai. His father was Joozapas Tiškevičius II and his mother Sofija Horvataitė.

He inherited the Užutrakis manor from his father, where he established a majorate and became the first ordinate. The palace was surrounded by a mixed park designed by the French park architect-dendrologist Eduard François Andre.
