Biography
Ann (Unknown) Adams immigrated to New England between 1621 and 1640 and later departed for England.
Ann (Unknown) was born about 1618. (Her birth year is uncertain and the names of his parents are unknown.)
She married Ferdinando Adams in England. He was a shoemaker and an Anglican churchwarden who grew upset with the church hierarchy over the removal of the parish pastor for his Puritanical beliefs.[1]
In 1637 the couple migrated to New England, settling at Dedham in Massachusetts Bay. He was admitted to the Dedham church a few months after his wife on January 25, 1639; prior she had given "a very good testimony of the grace of god in him and of his repentance for his distempers which had become offensive."[1]
Her husband returned to England in August of 1641. After his return, he sent for Ann and the children in 1642.[1] Children all born and baptized in Dedham.
