John Ward was born on December 5, 1796 in Sackville, New Brunswick.[1] son of Nehemiah Ward and Susanna Salisbury.

His siblings were:

John married Eunice Hicks on January 16, 1817.[2]

John (21) married Eunice Hicks (19) (born in 1798 in Sackville, Westmorland, New Brunswick; daughter of Josiah Hicks Jr. and Sarah (Read) Hicks) on February 16, 1818 in Sackville, Westmorland. Their known children were:

John Passed away after 1851, probably in Sackville Parish, Westmorland, New Brunswick
