Biography
Petrus Westvaal (aka Peter Westfall) is the son of Wouter Westvaal and Jannetjen (Pier) Westvaal.
Petrus was baptized on August 23, 1741 in the Reformed Dutch Church of "Poughkeepsie and The Flats" (per Holland Society) or Rhinebeck Flats (per NYGBR), or Rhinebeck (per FamilySearch indexing), New York, recorded as the child of Wouter Westvaal (per Holland Society; Westvall per NYGBR) and Jannetjen Pier. Witnesses were Petrus Van Kampen (per Holland Society; Van Campen per NYGBR) and Heyltjen Van Kampen.[1][2][3]
