We've missed you. Your Ancestors have missed you. Are you still interested in participating on WikiTree? Please let me know what your intentions are. We would love to see you active again but understand if you are no longer interested.
Let me explain what will happen if you no longer wish to continue on WikiTree, all of your living profiles will be deleted for privacy reasons, all profiles meeting the 150/200 year rule will be opened up and orphaned so others may adopt them and your personal profile will be deleted. I understand how tough that will be after all the work you have put into building profiles. Is there someone you can transfer your profiles to? If yes, please contact me and I will send you information on how to do that.
Thank you for all of your past contributions and hopefully future contributions.
We also have a Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on.
Also don't forget to feel free to ask a question at our G2G forum if you couldn't find an answer on our help pages, (menu top right of your profile) . You can use the G2G forum to get assistance from other Genealogy volunteers to find a relative if you hit a brick wall. Just look on the right hand margin on the G2G page or click on Requests for Genealogy Help.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Dorothy Barry, WikiTree Mentor
Don't forget to Head over to the G2G forum. and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House or ask a question in any of the other categories. There's also a brickwall tag in the G2G forum: for that "special" ancestor who is eluding you.
You are now a member of the WikiTree Community! Please remember that we are trying to build one Collaborative Global Family Tree which means only one profile per person. It is important to ensure that no duplicates are created and profiles are properly sourced.
To help you get started, check out an introductory WikiTree video that a member created. For member benefits, see our Community Members page.
We also have a Mentor Team who will be glad to answer questions and help you with any specific problems.
Welcome! As a guest you are encouraged to explore. Please take time to read our Honor Code, it's what makes us a special community. The G2G forum will answer a lot of your questions, as well as the Find and Help Menus (upper right). Our goal is to have one profile per person that is properly sourced.
WikiTree is a collaborative site for people of all experience levels. Please take your time and check us out. If you would like to join us, please check the Volunteer Box, and leave us a message, here on your Profile page, to that effect. We would love to have you!

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
