Hi Tom

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz. As Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within a project is essential

Please ensure locations are entered on all profiles and data matches dates of profile. Avoid abbreviations, add sources with citations & links for sources to support the data. From wiki ID go to Research to find sources

To learn more about joining the community in How To #3 & in the Project FAQ.

Explore Pre-1700 Projects list to find one that fits your research focus.

Hi Janet,

Thank you for the followup. I must say I was surprised at all of the "rules" surrounding pre-1700 ancestors, but it is the right thing to do. Thanks again, Tom
